Short Online Course: “Preparing Senior Drivers for an Occupational Therapy Driving Assessment”

This course is designed for senior drivers (and their families) who may be required to undergo an OT driving assessment.

It is very normal to feel uncertain and apprehensive about being told to do an OT driving assessment – we have heard all the questions. We have always tried to help our clients feel prepared, but there is only so much you can say on a “Frequently Asked Questions” handout…

We also often had clients who have never thought about what they will do if/when they can no longer drive – and being told that they have failed an OT driving assessment can be a huge shock and emotional time.

Learn About:

  • Why you are being required to do the assessment
  • Laws regarding medical conditions and driving
  • How the assessment works
  • Tips to help prepare for the assessment
  • Planning ahead for retiring from driving

Cost:

$100.00 with $5.00 from every course purchased will be donated to the Australian Road Safety Foundation – our national not-for-profit champions for road safety and reducing road toll.

What is Included:

  • 9 “Lessons” – Approximately three hours information presented in a video format by Jenny Gribbin, Director of Driving Well Occupational Therapy
  • Workbook with notes, links to resources and reflection exercises
  • Work at your own pace; pause and come back anytime
